I wish I'd had my camera

This morning while driving my husband to work, a 20 minute commute in the middle of fields of nothing, I just happened to glance to my left, out the window just barely above the hill was a meteor, for just a split second I saw it's black shape, fire on it's nose and a tail of fire behind, then flash!!!!! It exploded right over the hill and flayed everywhere. I have never in my life seen one so close I could see the shape of it. Amazing! Wish I could have caught that to share- but fact is it happened so split second fast there would be no way to capture it purposely. I was lucky enough to have caught it with my eye. Amazing though!
